Pre-Independence Celebration 2025

Pre-Independence Celebration at Wawin National School of Excellence Wawin National School of Excellence recently hosted a vibrant Pre-Independence Celebration, bringing together students and staff for a day filled with joy, unity, and cultural pride. The one-day event featured various activities that showcased the diverse traditions, talents, and creativity of the students. Everyone participated enthusiastically — from traditional dances and songs to speeches reflecting on the nation’s journey toward independence. The atmosphere was lively and colorful, with students dressed in their provincial colors and waving the Papua New Guinea flag with pride. The celebration reminded everyone of the importance of national identity, respect, and togetherness. Overall, it was a memorable and meaningful day for the entire WNSOE community — one that truly reflected the spirit of “Academic Excellence and Good Citizenship.

24th Graduation 2025

Wawin National School of Excellence proudly marked its 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration on Thursday, 02nd October 2025, alongside the 24th Grade 12 Graduation Ceremony. This grand occasion commemorated 25 years of dedicated service to education, discipline, and nation-building. The Silver Jubilee celebration reflected on the school’s humble beginnings, remarkable growth, and continued commitment to excellence. Students, alumni, staff, parents, and special guests gathered to celebrate the rich history and achievements of WNSOE. The event featured cultural performances, choral presentations, speeches, and awards, honoring both past and present members of the school community who contributed to its success. The atmosphere was filled with pride and gratitude as everyone celebrated 25 years of academic excellence and good citizenship. In his address, the Principal expressed appreciation to all who have been part of the school’s journey and encouraged the graduating class to carry forward the school’s legacy of integrity, leadership, and excellence. The day concluded with joyful celebrations, photo sessions, and fellowship among students and guests — a fitting tribute to 25 years of educational impact at Wawin National School of Excellence.
